Standard Industrial Tool Balancers

Everyday industrial use

Use the standard industrial family for fabrication, assembly, maintenance, repair and production where there is no special washdown, ESD or hazardous-area requirement. The first question is simple: should the tool return when released, or stay counterbalanced through the work area?

Choose a retractor when…

The tool should return toward a rest position after the operator lets go.

Typical fit: impacts, grinders, pneumatic tools and assembly tools.

Choose zero-gravity when…

The tool should remain controlled and easy to move throughout the working range.

Typical fit: repetitive production tooling, fixtures and heavier suspended equipment.

0.5–14 kg

Tool Retractors

A retractor supports the tool while it is being used, then pulls it back toward a rest position when released. It is a straightforward way to keep a frequently used tool accessible without leaving it on the bench or floor.

Best for
Service bays, fabrication, assembly stations and maintenance work.

Main benefit
Quick access during the job and automatic return afterward.

Select by
Complete suspended weight, required travel and cable/rope configuration.

4–25 kg

Zero-Gravity Balancers

A zero-gravity balancer counterbalances the load through the working range. Instead of pulling the tool back, it lets the operator guide it through the task while carrying far less of its dead weight.

Best for
Repetitive assembly, production tools and suspended loads that need controlled movement.

Main benefit
Reduced operator effort without constantly fighting a return force.

Working range
Light- to medium-duty loads from 4–25 kg.

10–105 kg

Heavy Zero-Gravity Balancers

The same counterbalanced handling concept, built for larger industrial tools, fixtures and suspended equipment.

Best for
Heavy production tooling, fixtures and equipment-handling applications.

Main benefit
Controlled movement where carrying the full load would create excessive operator effort.

Working range
Heavy-duty loads from 10–105 kg.

Extended travel

Long-Travel Zero-Gravity

Long-travel models are for applications where a standard stroke cannot cover the full vertical work area.

Best for
Tall workpieces, large fixtures and extended-reach stations.

Main benefit
More working reach while keeping the load counterbalanced.

Select by
Load range first, then required stroke and configuration.
