Description
Lincoln Electric Ranger 330MPX Engine-Driven Welder/Generator
K3459-1
The Lincoln Electric Ranger 330MPX is an engine-driven multiprocess welder/generator built for construction, maintenance and repair, service trucks, rental fleets and pipeline welding. Stock number K3459-1 is the standard carbureted Ranger 330MPX powered by a Kohler Command CH740 gasoline engine.
The Ranger 330MPX supports Stick, MIG, TIG, flux-cored welding and air carbon arc gouging. Lincoln Electric rates the machine at 330 amps at 28 volts at 100% duty cycle in DC constant-current and downhill-pipe modes. Touch-start TIG is rated at 330 amps at 23.2 volts at 100% duty cycle, while constant-voltage output is rated at 312 amps at 29 volts at 100% duty cycle.
Generator output is rated at 11,500 watts peak and 10,000 watts continuous, with 60 Hz single-phase AC power available through 120V and 240V receptacles. This gives the Ranger enough auxiliary power to run common jobsite tools and equipment while providing a full suite of welding processes.
Lincoln Electric's digital interface includes Ready.Set.Weld controls, ArcFX graphical feedback and advanced weld settings. CrossLinc technology allows compatible feeders and remotes to control welding output through the weld cable, eliminating the need for a separate control cable.
The Ranger 330MPX also adds specialized engine-drive weld modes including downhill pipe, touch-start pulse TIG and pulse spool-gun welding. A direct 7-pin connection supports the Magnum PRO 250LX GT spool gun without an additional adapter.
The Kohler CH740 is a two-cylinder, four-cycle, air-cooled gasoline engine rated at 25 hp at 3,600 rpm. Fuel capacity is 11 gallons. The machine measures 26 x 20 x 36 in. and has a net weight of 446 lb.
