ER4043 is a 5% silicon aluminum filler metal, widely recognized as one of the most commonly used alloys in aluminum welding fabrication and repair. Known for its smooth, stable arc and excellent flow characteristics, ER4043 offers reduced crack sensitivity, making it a preferred choice over other aluminum welding wires.

Available in both spools and cut lengths for MIG and TIG welding, ER4043 is recommended for base metals including 3003, 3004, 5052, 6061, 6063, as well as casting alloys 43, 355, 356, and 214.
