Miller Multimatic 255 Multiprocess Welder – 208–575V
907728
The Miller Multimatic 255 is a professional single-phase multiprocess welder designed for fabrication, plant maintenance, contract welding and training environments. Stock number 907728 is the machine-only package with Auto-Line input from 208 through 575 volts.
The Multimatic 255 supports MIG, pulsed MIG, flux-cored, DC Stick, DC Lift-Arc TIG and pulsed TIG welding. Rated output is 230 amps at 25.5 volts at 60% duty cycle for MIG, 200 amps at 28 volts at 60% for Stick and 275 amps at 21 volts at 60% for TIG.
Output ranges are 20–350 amps for MIG/flux-cored, 30–275 amps for Stick and 5–275 amps for DC TIG. Auto-Line automatically accepts any single-phase input voltage from 208–575V without manual linking, while generator compatibility allows full output from generators rated at 12 kW or higher.
Auto-Set technology provides predefined welding parameters for MIG, pulsed MIG, Stick and DC TIG, while Program mode stores up to four programs per process. A 7-inch color LCD provides process selection, setup guidance and troubleshooting information.
For aluminum MIG welding, the Multimatic 255 supports compatible spool guns and push-pull guns. Auto-Gun Detect automatically adjusts parameters when switching between standard MIG, push-pull and spool-gun configurations.
Stock number 907728 includes the power source, 15 ft. MDX-250 MIG gun, electrode holder and cable, work lead and clamp, flow gauge regulator and gas hose, reversible drive rolls, extra contact tips and material-thickness gauge. Running gear and TIG equipment are optional.
