The ESAB Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 70+ is a portable 70-amp plasma cutting system built for fabrication, repair and maintenance, agricultural equipment, HVAC, pipeline work and industrial production. Product number 1-7000-1 is the North American 120–240V single-phase package and includes the 120V adapter.

Output is continuously adjustable up to 70 amps. At 240V input, the Cutmaster 70+ delivers 70 amps at 40% duty cycle and 40 amps at 100% duty cycle. At 120V, it delivers 25 amps at 40% duty cycle and 16 amps at 100% duty cycle.

The system has a 3/4 in. pierce capacity, 1-1/8 in. maximum recommended cut and 1-1/2 in. maximum edge-start/severance capacity. It uses clean, dry compressed air or high-purity nitrogen and requires 90–125 psi inlet pressure.

A 4.3 in. TFT LCD display and glove-friendly control knob simplify setup. The included SL60 1Torch supports 2T/4T operation, trigger safety lock and double-tap air control. Normal and grate cutting modes, post-cut air purge and a complete consumables kit are included.

The Cutmaster 70+ also includes CNC functionality through a pre-installed 14-pin CPC receptacle and voltage divider for Start/Stop, OK-to-Move and divided arc-voltage signals.
