Clamps or magnets secure parts properly
Fixture height suits robot reach
Clearance verified for torch movement
Part Prep
Parts cleaned (no oil, rust, or paint)
Fit-up tolerances meet weld spec
Tack welds in place if required
Consistent part geometry batch-to-batch
Sample parts available for programming
Operator Considerations
Operator trained on cobot safety protocols
PPE available (gloves, sleeves, safety glasses)
E-stop locations understood
Basic troubleshooting knowledge in place
