Description
Lincoln Electric Sprinter 180Si Stick/Pulsed TIG Welder – 120/230V
K5453-1
The Lincoln Electric Sprinter 180Si is a compact DC Stick and TIG welding power source designed for light-duty fabrication, maintenance, farm, auto body, aerospace, light structural and shipbuilding applications. Weighing 19.5 lb., it combines portable Stick capability with high-frequency, Touch-Start and pulsed DC TIG functions.
Dual-input operation allows the machine to run from either 120V or 230V single-phase power. On 230V input, the Sprinter 180Si provides up to 200 amps for DC TIG and up to 180 amps for Stick. On 120V input, available output is up to 140 amps for TIG and 110 amps for Stick.
Two dedicated Stick modes are tuned for cellulosic and low-hydrogen electrodes, including 6010 and 7018. Adaptive Arc Force and Automatic Hot Start help improve arc starting and reduce electrode sticking. TIG features include high-frequency starting, Touch-Start TIG, pulse adjustment from 0.1 to 100 pulses per second, automatic postflow and compatibility with Lincoln Electric foot or hand Amptrol controls.
The K5453-1 base package includes the Sprinter 180Si welding machine, insulated electrode holder and cable, heavy-duty work clamp and cable, and a 230V-to-120V power cord adapter.
