The Miller Coolmate 3 is a three-gallon closed-loop coolant system designed for water-cooled TIG and MIG torches rated up to 500 amps. Stock number 043008 is the 240V, 50/60 Hz CE model.

The Coolmate 3 uses a fan-cooled fin-and-tube heat exchanger, a brass-body positive-displacement rotary vane pump and a factory-set 55 psi pressure-relief valve to maintain consistent coolant flow and pressure during welding. Its polyethylene tank, fan shroud and filler spout are rustproof for long service life.

Maximum cooling capacity is 3,820 watts, or 13,000 BTU/hr, at 4.2 qt./min. Rated IEC cooling capacity is 1,420 watts, or 4,840 BTU/hr, at 1.1 qt./min. The 3-gallon tank holds 11.4 litres of coolant.

The front panel includes an on/off power switch, paddle-wheel coolant-flow indicator, filter and easy-fill coolant spout. Standard 5/8-18 left-hand torch fittings are compatible with common water-cooled TIG and MIG torches. The 240V model includes a 10 ft. power cord but does not include a power plug.
