The Miller XMT 650 ArcReach is a heavy-industrial multiprocess welding power source designed for structural steel fabrication, construction, shipbuilding, heavy manufacturing, maintenance and repair, pressure-vessel work and other demanding applications. Stock number 907845 is the 575V, three-phase ArcReach model.

The XMT 650 ArcReach delivers a broad 10–815 amp CC output range, a 10–44 volt CV range and a 10–65 volt submerged-arc range. Rated output is 650 amps at 44 VDC at 100% duty cycle, with 750 amps at 44 VDC at 60% duty cycle and 815 amps at 44 VDC at 25% duty cycle.

The power source supports MIG, flux-cored, Stick, Lift-Arc DC TIG, submerged arc and air carbon arc cutting and gouging. RMD and pulsed MIG are available when the ArcReach model is paired with an ArcReach Smart Feeder, while induction heating is supported when used with an ArcReach Heater.

ArcReach technology allows operators to control welding parameters from compatible feeders or remotes using the existing weld cable instead of a separate control cord. Cable Length Compensation automatically adjusts for voltage loss over long weld leads, while Auto-Process Select helps set the correct process based on the connected ArcReach accessory.

Additional industrial features include Auto Remote Sense, adjustable arc control, a 14-pin receptacle for feeders, spool guns and remote controls, 120V auxiliary power, Fan-On-Demand cooling, Wind Tunnel Technology and an IP23-rated enclosure. The 907845 is a power-source-only configuration, allowing the feeder, gun, running gear and remote accessories to be selected for the application.
