Orion B Arc Welding Rods – Chromium-Free Boron Carbide Hardfacing Electrodes for Extreme Abrasion (SMAW) - 2lb Tube
Product Description
Maximum abrasion resistance in a single pass.
Orion B rods are engineered for hardfacing components exposed to severe abrasion with light to moderate impact. These chromium-free electrodes use boron carbide in a martensitic matrix to achieve a surface hardness of 65–69 RC with just one layer.
With smooth arc control, 90% deposition efficiency, and the ability to cut the finished surface with a torch, Orion B provides exceptional wear protection for crushers, augers, impellers, and agricultural implements. For best results, build up using Apollo A or Polaris A before applying Orion B as a top layer.
