TECNA ATEX-family zero-gravity balancers counterbalance a suspended tool or load through the working range rather than pulling it back to a rest position. They are intended for applications where ATEX-rated equipment has been specified.
How to select
Match the complete suspended load to the published rated working range, then confirm the required configuration, including friction-brake options where available.
Canadian application note
ATEX is not the same as Canadian approval. The hazardous-location classification and applicable Canadian installation requirements must be reviewed for the specific site.
