The Lincoln Electric POWER MIG 262 is a professional MIG and flux-cored welding system designed for metal fabrication, maintenance and repair, auto body and light industrial applications. It delivers up to 300 amps of welding output through a streamlined control interface intended to keep setup straightforward while retaining the durability expected from the POWER MIG platform.

The K5706-1 operates from 208V, 230V, 460V or 575V single-phase input power. Rated output is 230 amps at 26.5 volts with a 60% duty cycle, while the overall welding output range is 5–300 amps. Wire feed speed ranges from 50–700 IPM.

The POWER MIG 262 uses Lincoln Electric’s MAXTRAC industrial wire drive for consistent wire delivery and supports standard MIG, flux-cored, spool-gun and push-pull configurations. Built-in electronics support multiple aluminum feeding methods using compatible push, spool or push-pull guns.

The machine includes a simple seven-segment display with knob controls, advanced settings for run-in, preflow, postflow, spot timer and burnback, two front-mounted 115V auxiliary receptacles, cable management and a side-mounted tool holder.
