The Lincoln Electric FlexCut 45 is a portable air plasma cutting system designed for on-site maintenance, small construction, HVAC, demolition, rental and fabrication applications. The K5823-H Handheld Ready-Pak combines dual-voltage input, high duty cycle and a compact 26.8 lb. design for field and shop use.

The FlexCut 45 operates from 120V or 240V single-phase input power and provides a 15–45 amp output range. On 230/240V input, it is rated at 45 amps at 50% duty cycle, 41 amps at 60% duty cycle and 32 amps at 100% duty cycle. On 120V input, it is rated at 27 amps at 20% duty cycle.

For mild steel, Lincoln Electric rates the machine for a recommended 5/8 in. cut at 16 IPM, a maximum 7/8 in. cut at 7 IPM and a 1 in. severance cut at 5 IPM. Required gas pressure is 90–130 PSI using clean, dry compressed air or nitrogen.

The FlexCut 45 uses Lincoln Electric’s FlexConnect torch system, allowing compatible handheld and mechanized torch heads or cables to be changed without tools. It also includes built-in CNC connectivity, LCD controls and modes for drag cutting, fine cutting, gouging and marking.
