The Miller 20 Series Basic is a constant-speed industrial wire feeder designed for high-duty-cycle MIG and flux-cored welding applications. Stock number 301499 is the feeder-only basic model.

The feeder operates from 24 VAC, 3.5 amp, 50/60 Hz control power and provides a wire-feed-speed range of 75–750 IPM. It accepts wire diameters from .023 in. through 5/64 in. and is rated for a 500 amp, 100 volt welding circuit at 100% duty cycle.

Four gear-driven drive rolls provide smooth, positive wire feeding, while trigger hold reduces operator fatigue during long welds. On-board burnback and motor-ramp control improve arc starting and stopping performance across a range of compatible CV/DC welding power sources.

The 16-gauge sheet-metal housing is designed for rough industrial service. The feeder includes wire-speed control, jog/purge and trigger-hold functions. Digital meter, remote voltage control and adjustable run-in are optional field upgrades on this basic model and are standard only on the separate digital model.

Stock number 301499 is the feeder-only configuration. Welding gun, drive-roll kit, flowmeter regulator, gas hose, feeder weld cable and other welding accessories are selected separately for the application.
