TECNA

TECNA TE7913 HVAC Production Spot Weld Gun – 6 kVA

  • HVAC fit: repetitive duct-shop production where operator handling matters
  • Typical work: fittings, plenums, cabinets, brackets and repeated sheet-metal subassemblies
  • Pneumatic, fully water-cooled 6 kVA gun
  • Gyroscopic suspension supports easier multi-angle positioning when used with a balancer
  • Best for shops moving beyond hand-clamped portable welding into repeat production

Description

HVAC Quick Fit — TECNA TE7913

The TE7913 is the ergonomic production choice in the portable/suspended range. Its pneumatic actuation, water cooling and gyroscopic suspension make it well suited to HVAC shops that need repeated spot welds without asking the operator to manually squeeze and carry the full gun through every cycle.

Good fit for
Repeated duct fittings, plenums, cabinets, HVAC equipment panels and sheet-metal subassemblies.

Why choose it
Pneumatic force, water cooling and multi-angle suspended manoeuvrability when paired with the correct balancer.

Move up when
The work is better served by a fixed pedestal station, deeper throat access or a higher-capacity stationary welder.

HVAC application note

This is especially attractive where the same operator makes many welds per shift or works around awkward fitting geometry. Confirm access from both sides of the overlap and validate coated-sheet settings before production.

HVAC / duct fabrication focus

Where this TECNA model fits in an HVAC shop

Suspended pneumatic HVAC production

Repetitive fitting and cabinet production where operator handling matters. Resistance spot welding is strongest where overlapping sheet can be clamped from both sides and the joint only needs discrete welds rather than a continuous airtight seam.

Why this modelPneumatic force + water cooling + balanced multi-angle handling
Shop servicesPower + compressed air + water cooling + correctly sized balancer
Galvanized sheetValidate the actual coating, gauge, weld schedule and electrode maintenance before production.
Spot welding is not always the correct duct process. Use it for discrete overlap joints, collars, brackets, fittings, housings and similar assemblies. If the joint requires a continuous airtight seam, evaluate seam/stitch welding or another approved duct-joining method instead.

HVAC Spot Welder Fit Check

Send the duct-shop application. We’ll narrow the machine.

You do not need to know the TECNA model. Gauge, material, part type, access, weld rate and available shop services are more useful than guessing at kVA.

Useful example:
24–26 ga galvanized • spin-in collars + square-to-round fittings • 50–100 welds/day • portable preferred • 230 V available • no water loop.
